Tips to Prepare for Your Interview
We believe great interviews are structured, objective and focused on real impact. That’s why we use the STAR method in many of our behavioural interviews.
A simple structure to tell your experiences clearly:
S – Situation: describe the context and background.
T – Task: explain your role and objective.
A – Action: share the actions you took.
R – Result: highlight the outcome, ideally with tangible examples or data.
Think of moments where you collaborated across teams, pushed for better, and followed through.
Many of our interviews take place online. To make the best impression:
- Choose a quiet, well-lit space;
- Test your microphone and connection beforehand;
- Dress professionally;
- Keep your CV handy, and maybe a glass of water too;
- Minimise notifications;
- Look into the camera and smile – your energy comes through even virtually!
If you’ve made it to the in-person stage, congratulations! It’s your opportunity to meet the team and experience the Recordati culture.
- Dress professionally but stay true to yourself – we value authenticity.
- Arrive a few minutes early.
- Bring an ID (security might ask for it to access the building).
- Have extra copies of your CV just in case.
- Bring curiosity and questions: interviews are a two-way conversation.
